Hi everyone! "Hamond Hot Wheels" prices itself on providing a great rental experience in the Washington, DC area, whether you are traveling through, or you live here and want to try out a great car for a day or a long weekend, or even longer.

Our niche is that we have unusual cars that are unique in some way to this market, mostly fun-to-drive cars. We have added a couple of cars recently -- a 2019 Mini Countryman S and a 2020 Mini Clubman S -- so now we have something for everyone, but our speciality is having unique cars that others don't have because we want to make the experience fun for us too! We don't have one of 70 Teslas or 60 Wranglers  or 50 Accords (not that there's anything wrong with that). We also try to price our cars reasonably; we would rather people enjoy them than have then sit in the street.

2004 BMW E46 M3 -- yes, an E46 M3, quickly becoming a classic and probably the best-looking and best-driving M3 (IMHO), and the only E46 M3 on Turo on the East Coast. If you have never driven this car, come try it! It's my favorite

2014 PORSCHE 911 CARRERA -- the standard coupe, black-on-black, and one of the only "991.1" 911 coupes in this market, naturally-aspirated six-cylinder, before Porsche went to the four-cylinder turbo in 2017

2016 PORSCHE BOXSTER GTS -- top-of-the-line GTS convertible, also with the naturally-aspired six-cylinder, before Porsche went to turbos with the 718 chassis, with all the added bells and whistles and power of the GTS model (not a base Boxster)

2019 FORD MUSTANG SHELBY GT350 -- this is the manual transmission beast that was rated one of the top two 2019 "Best Driver's Cars" by Motor Trend, along with the 911 Carrera S

2017 MAZDA MX-5 MIATA RF -- also manual transmission and a blast to drive! A totally cool little car in a great color, one of the only Miatas around

2019 MINI COUNTRYMAN S ALL4 -- also a totally cool car, great for the city or for road trips, and the only Mini on Turo in our region in British Racing Green, manufacturer certified

2020 MINI CLUBMAN S ALL 4 -- a great all-purpose car in the beautiful and classic Pepper White color with Signature trim. Great for long-term trips, also manufacturer-certified, and low miles

​

2022 VOLVO XC 90 T8 -- a late-model, 7-seater hybrid (runs on gas only if you don't have power available near where the car will be parked) that's great for road trips and getting around the city, with the Polestar update for extra power and fun

​

2019 MAZDA CX-9 GRAND TOURING -- we wanted to add one more three-row family car, and our Mazda CX-9 is the only one in our region in the Grand Touring trim

We are wiping down the touch points inside and outside the cars before and after each rental, as well as airing them out.

​

Hamond Hot Wheels wants to make everyone's experience great. We count on return business and will send discounts on future trips to guests after their trips with us. We will deliver locally and to DCA if the timing works (we aren't able to deliver all the time and we will be in touch with you after your trip requests to discuss details), and we will work with return guests to be flexible on pricing -- especially on weekdays.
